Deftones arrive in Italy: the band from Sacramento finally returns to perform in our country. The Californian group, led by the legendary Chino Moreno, will perform on Tuesday 17 June 2025 on the stage of the Carroponte in Milan, giving Italian fans an evening full of emotions and intense sounds. Deftones formed in Sacramento (California) in 1988 from the meeting of Stephen Carpenter (guitar), Abe Cunningham (drums) and Chino Moreno (vocals), then high school students. The three soon managed to propose a demo to Maverick who signed them after a couple of listens; with the collaboration of Terry Date – already producer of Soundgarden and Pantera – in October 1995 the debut album, ADRENALINE, was released. However, the work did not turn out to be a great success. The band took it on tour but expectations for the announced sequel, given the premises, began to become quite high. AROUND THE FUR was released in October two years later and, unlike its predecessor, catapulted the band to the top of the charts thanks to singles such as "My own summer (shove It)"
