The second edition of ProjectX will take place along the golden beaches of Lignano Sabbiadoro
The best Italian festival of electronic music is coming back on July 8 and 9 after a successful first edition with over 10,000 participants from all over Italy and Europe. This edition, with a new location and line-up, should be the best one yet and Busforfun doesn’t want to miss what will surely be an exciting event.
Where? This year ProjectX will take place at the Arena Alpe Adria in Lignano Sabbiadoro, the historical location of the Festivalbar, which currently hosts live performances, concerts and dances under the starry sky of the Friulian Riviera.
But that’s not all. This is a great place for adrenaline junkies: a 60m high bungee jumping tower, humane slingshots, two helicopters available for a sightseeing flight over the park Rivellino and many more thrilling rides that make for a memorable experience!
How about some info about the line up? Let's start with a #throwback: last year international DJs such as Steve Aoki, Daddy's Groove, Promise Land, Junior Black, Stephen Mattara, Outwork, Anfisa Letyago and Flatdisk took the stage. The organizers didn’t want this year to be any less special so they invited very important artists, among which some have never performed in Italy. Special guests of this edition will therefore be Axwell Ʌ Ingrosso and Benny Benassi!

On July 8, the duo Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso, former members of the Swedish House Mafia, will ignite the audience with a DJ set based on sophisticated Electronic House.
The two Swedish DJs began their collaboration in 2014, debuting at Governors Ball Music Festival in New York with the song We Come We Rave We Love. The performance was a smashing success, and according to Billboard one of the 15 Hot Moments Governors Ball as well as the Top 10 Best Performances of Governors Ball, With them you can dance to the tune of Dream Bigger, Sun Is Shining, On My Way, Can’t Hold Us Down and other famous hits that are sweeping clubs worldwide.
July 9, however, will be Benny Benassi’s night. He is widely regarded as the best Italian DJ in the world, which can also be seen by prestigious collaborations with some of the most important international artists, such as Madonna, John Legend and many others. His biggest hits include I Feel So Fine, Satisfaction, Bring the Noise and Spaceship, alongside numerous productions and remixes of famous songs like Stardust by Mika, I'm addicted by Madonna, Womanizer by Britney Spears and Doom and Gloom by The Rolling Stones.
