Richie Hawtin lands in Villafranca!
In the evocative location of the Castello Scaligero of Villafranca di Verona, comes the latest sensational concept show by Richie Hawtin Close - Spontaneity & Synchronicity.
The show has the clear intent to reformulate the concept of DJ, in which - from the words of Hawtin himself - is offered "more transparency in the creative process of DJs, a recently misunderstood art". One of the spearheads of the last Coachella, the show is an immersive audiovisual experience: modular synthesizers, analogical instruments and cameras that follow the artist, taking up his movements to reinterpret them as abstract shapes projected at the same time, bringing the audience closer to the improvisation of Richie Hawtin.
Before him, a certainty, Joseph Capriati, protagonist of the house scene for more than a decade, then Ben Klock, spokesman of the Berlin techno movement in recent years and finally Daniel Avery, rose to the fore thanks to the highly acclaimed Drone Logic!
