A Sample of Wines, Art and History in Valpolicella
When we say Valpolicella we say Amarone. And this is precisely one of the wines that we will taste during the visit to the Villa Mosconi Bertani in Valpolicella.
But not only…
The first stop of the day is the city of Verona which we will visit independently and then leave in the afternoon for Villa Mosconi Bertani where, thanks to a guided tour, we will discover this architectural gem which dates back to its origins as early as 1500. In this historic Villa-cellar with its vineyards, Contessa Mosconi and the playwright Ippolito Pindemonte hosted an important literary salon.
We will then be accompanied on a tour of the winemaking cellars to the beautiful barrel cellar during which we will be explained the individual stages of the production process.
At the end of the visit we will taste 4 wines from the Tenuta Santa Maria di Gaetano Bertani selected for us: Lepiga Soave Valpolicella Classico Superiore Valpolicella Ripasso Classico Superiore Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Riserva.
We will be accompanied during the day by an Ais sommelier (Italian Sommelier Association).
